Prototyping and test

In order to validate our engineering studies, MMT also integrate some prototyping capabilities for integration of our designs in the customer application. These prototypes are then fully tested before delivery to the customer. Our prototyping and test capabilities include:

• Two prototyping workshops equipped with conventional machining and winding tools and a team of technicians skilled in the realization and assembly of small mechanical parts. Local sub-contracting is also used for pre-series and more advanced machining.
• All magnetization capabilities with high energy mono or multi-sources power supplies associated with internally developed magnetizing heads.
• One electronic laboratory for assembly of our demo PC boards and integration in the customer application.
• Magnetic characterization capabilities for magnets and soft magnetic materials (remanence, B(H) curves, ...).
• Programming capabilities for Hall ASICs used in our sensors.
• Performance measurement of the prototypes over the -40°C to 150°C automotive temperature range (torque, force, non-linearity ...) with National Instruments interface and internally developed LabVIEW software (http://www.ni.com/ ).
• Noise measurement capabilities.
