Magnetizing equipments

MMT has a recognized expertise in the design and realization of encoder magnetic target pattern and production magnetizer. MMT's magnetizing fixture, coil and head are used in mass volume production to magnetize all the magnets used in our sensors, motors and actuators, but also for high accuracy position encoders (standard low cost Hall switches facing an MMT magnetized target). These magnetizing equipments have the following features:

• Magnetization of all magnet shapes (ring, disc, flat...) and materials (sintered or plastic bonded Ferrite, Neodymium, Samarium...)
• All custom magnetization patterns available (regular or random period, possible singularities, parallel multi-track...)
• Very high pole pair density (down to 0.5 mm polar pitch)
• Very high polar length accuracy
• Very accurate polar amplitude
• Low off-set between south and north poles
• Possible support in the choice of the magnetizing power supply
• Magnetizing head customized to take advantage of the customer magnetizing bench features (single or multi-source(s) design, adjustment to the electrical characteristics...)
• Suitable with mass production cycle and life times
